Rotorua Golf Course

Established in 1930 Motutara Golf Course is a full length 9 Hole Public course with Par 3s 4s and 5s providing stunning views of Lake Rotorua and surrounded by Rotorua's unique sulphur flats, steaming mineral pools and abounding birdlife.

Motutara Golf course is NZGA affiliated, and has recently been redesigned to include a lengthy challenging dogleg PAR 5 making the 9 Hole a 33 PAR.

The course record of 28 was achieved by Len McHale Snr back in the 1930s. The 18 Hole course record of 58 was established by Touring Professional Dominic Barson in 2002.

For the enjoyment and safety of all our players, please adhere to these conditions at all times.
• Maximum of 4 players per group
• Limit of 2 players per set of clubs
• Repair all pitch and divot marks
• Call through fast players
• Driving Range Balls are not permitted to be used on the golf course
